The technologically advanced T-Scan is a computerized mylar wafer with hundreds of sensors that provides a way to measure bite force on each individual tooth. At DuPont & Wilkerson Dentistry, this M.I.T. developed technology provides the information needed to correct uneven bites and malocclusions with the highest degree of measurable sophistication.

Conventional methods for evaluating a patient's bite require the use of articulating paper which can only show the end results of occlusal contact. Unable to record which contacts hit first or measure their relative strength, these methods can not produce a comprehensive assessment.

Dr. DuPont and Dr. Wilkerson use the T-Scan, a hand held device, that quickly and accurately determines how well balanced your bite is. From this 3-D analysis, we can determine what is and what is not working with your bite.
